DTI and Pehama have developed a Polishing Robotic Solution, utilizing force-torque sensing to complete the task. The solution is already commercially sold and have proven to increase the quality of the polishing as well as improving the working environment for the end-customer.
In a ROBOTT-NET voucher project Fraunhofer IPA worked with C.F. Maier Europlast to develop human robot collaboration solutions. The project aims for developing human- robot collaborative solution for assembly tasks, with specific consideration of (optimal) cost-benefit balance.
As part of voucher work with Automata, the MTC have helped a customer with their prototype unit called Eva (TRL 4) in the certification of the unit as a safe, collaborative robot, ready for commercial deployment.
